Atlanta. Day 16.
Still no Internet yesterday morning, so I went down to Joe’s after breakfast to work remotely for a while. I stayed there for a few hours and got some design stuff done, and then I left and went home to grab my camera and headed downtown for the Latin American music performance at the Woodruff Piazza. I took some photos there, and then bought a ticket to the High Museum of Art. I saw so many amazing art pieces. Their contemporary art exhibit on the skyway level of the museum was INCREDIBLE. They also were housing several pieces that the Louvre in Paris had loaned them, as well as Monet’s Water Lilies (I couldn’t photograph any of those though). After the museum, I walked around downtown for a while and got a lot of great photos. I’ll try and post some of those eventually. I worked the rest of the afternoon at the organic smoothie shop in the Village, and then figured out how to fix the Internet at the house that evening. I watched Pay It Forward (good movie) and had leftover pasta. Worked some more on the posters, and that was my day pretty much.
Design: Continued the same stuff. Working in PS and IL on these big poster designs, and still in DW making some adjustments for the e-newsletter template.
